"CO2 removal and 1.5°C: Sharing the Gains from Inter-regional Cooperation using a Game-Theoretic Approach"

A common publication from CarMa and Imperial College London authored by Solène Chiquier, Emma Jagu, Olivier Massol and Niall Mac Dowell at the 2nd International Conference on Negative CO2 Emissions held in Gothenburg, Sweden (June 14-17, 2022).

The purpose of this paper is to examine whether international cooperation is feasible to deploy CDR at levels compatible with the Paris Agreement. Specifically, the authors access whether the gains from international cooperation can be shared in an incentive-compatible manner. (The paper is accessible here).
